KNOW & GROW
in Understanding God

This topical study reveals God's character through the examination of six of His names found in the book of Genesis. Understanding God's character is paramount to developing a close personal relationship with God the Father.

Understanding God Student Workbook

Six of the names of God are introduced in this 14 lesson topical study to guide the student toward understanding God and His character.  Only through knowing God can we begin to appreciate who He is, what He has done, and what provision He has made for each person.

Woven throughout this study is the introduction of study tools and their application.  The same inductive study approach is used as described for the KNOW & GROW in 2 Timothy study.

Understanding God Teaching Guide

The KNOW & GROW in Understanding God Teaching Guide is a teaching supplement to the Understanding God study mentioned above. This guide provides additional background material, teaching tips, answers to puzzles, music suggestions, and additional resources for the teacher. Although the teaching guide is not absolutely essential for use with the study, it does give some helpful insights to lead the students in the study.

Each lesson has been carefully outlined and the main topics have been brought in focus for the instructor. Expanded definitions for the various inductive study tools are made available for further clarification to students if needed. Additional scripture references also help to keep the pupil on track with the main subjects in the study. Suggestions are also provided to help anchor the truths of the lesson to the heart of the student.

Understanding God Group Plan Teaching Guide

The Understanding God Group Plan Teaching Guide has the exact same information as the one mentioned above and includes a group discussion guide.  As the name suggests, this guide will provide a group discussion plan suitable for use with Sunday Schools, Bible Clubs, and groups that meet for thirty minutes or more weekly. The group discussion guide takes students beyond their daily homework into more application and activities. If you are going to lead a class through the Understanding God study, this is the teaching tool you won't want to be without.
